Qatar unveil circuit plans for
2004 Grand Prix

Estoril: (Sunday 7 September 2003) Representatives from the Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation were in Estoril this weekend to meet members of the MotoGP Safety Commission with plans for the new circuit which will host a round of the MotoGP World Championship on 2 October 2004. QMMF President Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Atiyah unveiled the plans for the circuit, which is already under construction.

MotoGP riders Valentino Rossi, Sete Gibernau, Kenny Roberts and Nobuatsu Aoki, who make up the MotoGP Safety Commission along with representatives of the FIM and Dorna, were pleased with the drawings of the track. 

The track will be 5.4 km in length with a 1,068 meter straight and 16 corners. All will be revealed, SOON.
