Qatar: (Saturday 23 August 2003) The Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) will give a presentation on September 7 in Estoril during the Portugal MotoGP about the design and layout of the Qatar MotoGP track.

After getting clearance from the FIM, the QMMF will start the construction of the track and other facilities.

Revealing this, QMMF President Nasser Khalifa Al-Atiyah said that a FIM committee will inspect the track three times during the year. Local firm CICO Consulting Architects Engineers, has designed the track after consulting with a US company.
